When XPN moves to their new building, they're playing back the top 88.5 songs (which is realy eighthundred and eighty eight songs) so they're asking you for your top 10 songs of ALL TIME! XPN.org has all the details, but my topic is this: Is anyone else going completely insane coming up with this list? You would have to have a Beatles song in there right???, but which one? I'm thinking categories, like, best classic rock, best singer-songwriter song (joni?) best alternative, best blues, best jazz...you get the idea one from each genre. But, it's near impossible trying to narrow it down. Anyone?

Re: Top 10 Songs
Fri, September 24, 2004 - 6:50 AMI though about this too never decided. I was leaning towards just picking my favorite 10 that no one else would pick. They wouldn't really be the "greatest of all time" but would be really cool songs that just got overlooked. But all would be songs that make me smile, dance, or think...
Two I had in mind were "Push Tha Lil Daisies" by Ween...try not to dance and smile...just try...and "Real Good Looking Boy" by the Who. Its a Pete Townsend song which is a little weird considering his child porn allegations, but when you listen to the words you understand it's his thoughts as a kid when he was abused...I think.
